Post-Christmas many of us suffer the after effects of an over indulgent couple of weeks and we then pay the price for months afterwards. Abdominal pain, bloating, excess gas, acid reflux, heartburn and misery can all be eliminated if we make some wise choices and here’s my tips.
1 Stop eating when full, this is a very important point
2 Eat when you are hungry
3 Try not to eat between meals
4 Choose food that is healthy, nourishing and that suits you
5 Don’t pick at food as we are often unaware of the mounts we consume
6 Try not to eat whilst doing something else, be mindful of eating
7 Say ‘no’ to food during a social event if you don’t feel like eating
8 Be comfortable with leaving food on your plate
9 Eat slowly and chew well
10 Lastly, don’t beat yourself up if you have over indulged as tomorrow’s a new day!
